  1. sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install gnome-maps.

  3. cd ~/Downloads. tar -xvf gnome-maps-3.28.0.tar.xz.
  4. cd gnome-maps-3.28.0. ./ configure --prefix=/usr && make.
