Does cheat engine work on Linux?
The Cheat Engine application is not available for Linux, however, another application called “GameConqueror” based on the same concept and features is available for Linux distributions.
What is GameConqueror?
GameConqueror is a GUI front-end for scanmem, providing more features, such as: Flexible syntax for searching. Easier and multiple variable locking. Better process finder. Memory browser/editor.
Is Cheat Engine legal?
PSA: Having Cheat Engine installed on your PC can (and probably will) get you banned, permanently. Seen a lot of posts from people who have been banned but there's little to no way for people to know how strict their policy really is.
Does cheat engine work on all games?
Cheat Engine enables us to cheat in any PC game that is running on our machine. Cheat Engine will allow you to make scripts that do the hacking for you, just like game trainers.
