How do I install an SSM agent on an existing EC2 instance?
Download the latest version of SSM Agent to your instance by using the following link. If you want, update this URL with an AWS Region-specific URL. Run the downloaded AmazonSSMAgentSetup.exe file to install SSM Agent.
How do I know if AWS SSM Agent is installed?
Open the AWS Systems Manager console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/systems-manager/ . In the navigation pane, choose Fleet Manager. If the AWS Systems Manager home page opens first, choose the menu icon ( ) to open the navigation pane, and then choose Fleet Manager in the navigation pane. Note the Agent version.
